Any notice for reservation?

The name of the driver must be the same as the appointment. If the driver and the name of the appointment are different, we may reject this booking.

Can I walk in to make an appointment immediately?

If you want to make an appointment and pick up the car immediately, please kindly contact us before come.

If I drive my car to pick up the rental car? Any parking to keep my own car?

Yes, please let us what kind of your car before you come.

What document I have to prepare?

Please prepare your passport and International driver’s license. If you have a foreign driver’s license from Switzerland, Slovenia, Germany, France, Belgium, Principality of Monaco or Taiwan, by carrying a Japanese translation of the license together, you can drive for one year after landing in Japan. * For the Japanese translation, please contact embassies, consulates, or Japan JAF. .

Are there a limit of driving distance and kilometers?

We don’t limit the driving distance and kilometers!

What should I do if I have to pick up or return the car delay?

Please contact us within 60 minutes before pick up or return the car.If we have not receive the notice from the customer,we will cancel the appointment and charge the cancellation fee.

Can I extend rental time?

Is it ETC and car navigation in car?

Yes, we have ETC and car navigation in all car.

Is it all model can rental in Website?

Yes, any model you can rental in our website, Please contact us before you booking.

Is it all non-smoking car?

Yes, all models are non-smoking car.

Can I choose pick up and return point?

Yes, you can choose your pick up and return point, it is fee of change services.

※Service time is 10:00-18:00, If you return without contact in suddenly, we will charge 200% rental amount.

Can I use international driver driver’s license?

Can I rent a child seat or a junior seat?

Yes,We rent out at 500 yen per day (excluding tax).

Pet is it available??

Yes, please put your pet inside the pet cage.

About charge and payment

About payment?

After confirm the booking, our staff will send a payment email to customer’s registered email address, please open the email and pay by credit card within the payment link. If extend the rental hour or need repaired, we will be settle when the vehicle returned.

Does the car rental fee include insurance?

Car rental fee already include compulsory insurance and insurance.

About NOC (Non-Operation Charge) – Equivalent to Loss-of-Use Charge If a vehicle requires repair or cleaning due to a traffic accident, theft, break down, defacement, or other causes not attributable to West Coast Rental-Car, the customer may be charged an NOC as part of the compensation for loss of use during the repair or cleaning of the vehicle. These amounts are fixed regardless of the degree of the damage or the time required for such repair or cleaning.

About cancelling a reservation & cancellation fee

■About cancellation fee

Charges of cancellation by customers.

  • Up to 7 days prior to the date of rental / Charges do not apply
  • Up to 2-6 days prior to the date of rental/ 20% of the basic rates
  • Up to 1 day prior to the date of rental /30% of the basic rates
  • Date of rental/ 100% of the basic rates

※In the event of inclement weather, we will not charge any cancellation fees. Please contact us as soon as possible. West coast reserves the right to alter or terminate the Promotion and amend the terms and conditions at any time without notice. In case of disputes, the decision of west Coast merchants shall be final If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and the Japanese versions, the Japanese version shall prevail.
